Solar Eclipse Party – 12th August 2026
Be part of a 95% Solar Eclipse and do it in style!
Enjoy live music acts, great food and drink, soaking up one of the best views in Cornwall, topped off with an Eclipse!
This is fundraising ticket entry event with leftover funds going towards building an access ramp on to the cafe terrace. Making our cafe more inclusive to all.
Tickets include entry and special eclipse glasses.

Solar Eclipse Party 2026
A day of music, fun and adventure, hosted within the cafe grounds. Our ‘New Party Garden’ is housing the biggest party we have ever had!
Our mobile stage will be at the forefront of the incredible backdrop which is Talland Bay. As the sun and the moon do their own special dance in space!

Ticketing terms are all via EventBrite
(Price covers: entry to the festival, Solar Glasses (EN ISO 12312-2:2015 standard), all music, onsite activities (unless stated) and use of bar/food offered. Any remaining funds will be used towards building a disabled access ramp at the cafe. NO TICKET = NO ENTRY.)

Who’s Playing…
Wyatt and Co
A young local band with a diverse playlist and great feelgood set. These guys rock, roll, jam and funk their way to your musical soul. Its going to be great!
Pork Chop and the Cider Banjo
Like a fine cider, its opened at a party! And eh boy you better hold on to your hat, its going to be an epic adventure. Laughs a plenty, sing along and tell the bar maid to get ready, its banjo time..
DJ PURDY
A well travelled DJ, his playlist is encompassing! Playing good solid tunes, the party will never stop.
Other Attractions
Bouncy castle – 1 large traditional castle will operate from start till dark, once it’s too dark it will be deflated. If the weather is wet or windy, they could be cancelled completely for safety reasons.
We will have various covered areas but we are outdoors. Please bring appropriate clothing, just in-case! OR go true Glasto-style and bring some chairs or blanket.
Face painting and glittering – additional cost.
Well stocked bar, also offering real ale on-tap and a great local real cider.
Travel & Area
The site will run a drop off point for guests with tickets, at the entrance, we are running a NO CAR site during the festival. Mainly for safety reasons, please understand that it is better for everyone.
NO PARKING AVAILABLE ONSITE!
Still Driving? Our friends at Talland Barton Farm have a large parking area. Please note, this is a Steep walk to and from. Limited parking is available near the café. Hendersick carpark, Talland Road near church, national trust Rotterdam beach, lower Talland road.
Travel to and from the site:
Get someone you know to drop you off and pick you up.
Organise a taxi from local companies. (Barrie’s Taxi, Jacks Cabs, Mattsacabby, Chariots of hire).
Walk to site if you can but PLEASE STAY VISIBLE! The lane can be very dark with moving traffic.
Car share with friends and family.
Food
We are keeping the festival vibe with our food too! A selection of foods will be offered at different times onsite. You can choose from BBQ, Pizzas, Stuffed Rolls and Paninis from 1pm til 7pm,
Bring & Wear
Warm layer clothes and boots (pray for t-shirt and sunglasses).
Thank you card for the end of night pick up person!
Torch (eat carrots now).
Fleece, hat, and Mac (In the backpack you leave in the corridor).
Hints & Tips
We operate an all-equal site; all guests are equally entitled to enjoy the festival. Using the correct space to wee means we have a better place for all. No ticket no entry! Anyone onsite without a verified ticket will be removed from site. Anyone resisting being escorted from or repeatedly returning to the site will be reported to the local police authority for trespassing.
