Summertime is here! This summer we have mixed our early ‘Off the Beach’ vibe, late night bar and BBQ evening. Something different on the nights we are open.

BBQ IS KING! This summer running Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays! CHECK the CALENDAR as staffing levels may change what we can offer.
The BBQ will be running different styles on different evenings- BBQ Burgers on Thursday and Sunday and a more Full BBQ evening on FRIDAY. We try to offer a selection of options for Friday, like freshly caught fish and seafood, juicy meats, and delicious veggi options.
The bar will be offering a full range of grog including local ciders and Spritz Bar plus ice cold draught beers and cider on offer too.

Detroit pizzas from our own pizza oven!
Smugglers Rest in Talland Bay might surprise you with a delicious twist: their take on Detroit-style pizza. This rectangular, deep-dish pizza features a satisfyingly chewy yet crisp crust baked in a deep steel pan, with cheese caramelised to golden perfection along the edges, and tangy tomato sauce artfully layered on top.
Served up in our relaxed, beachside setting with panoramic sea views, from our very own wood pizza oven, it’s a unique and mouthwatering way to enjoy a slice while soaking in the coastal charm of Talland Bay, all washed down with a few drinks.
